Okay, technically that "you" was a man named Gerard Pfiefer who submitted the card for the very first You Make the Card promotion we ran back in 2002 (Forgotten Ancient was the card you all ended up making.) Here's what Gerard submitted: (remember that this was designed to go on a green creature) Mulligan Man If you draw CARDNAME in your initial hand, you may reveal it to all players
The Swarmlords main payoff is that its always a bit bigger than the amount of mana youve spent on it, which really isnt that impressive
Card is a common rarity, ideal for collection and gameplay
Modern MTG asks you to pay 4+ mana to bring a creature from the graveyard to the battlefield, so paying only 1-2 mana is a huge deal
By banishing it from the Graveyard, you can send any Dark Machine Monster from the deck to the Graveyard, so long as you can target a face-up Monster on the field as it will give it a temporary Attack boost (but you generally use its effect for the Foolish Burial-like effect)
add this card to your hand, and if you do, return that monster to the hand
